The short version

Feytom is a supplier, not an advertising business. This website runs no analytics, sets no cookies and carries no tracking or advertising tags of any kind. We collect personal information in two situations only: when you send us a quote request, and when you place an order. We use it to do the thing you asked for, and we do not sell it.

Who we are

Feytom LLC supplies chains, lashing webbing, ropes and related industrial goods to businesses in the United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

What we collect

When you ask us for a quote

The quote form asks for your name, your company, an email address, a telephone number, the products and quantities you need, and where the goods are going. You may add anything else you think is relevant. We collect exactly what you type and nothing else.

When you place an order

To take an order and deliver it we need your name, your billing details, the delivery address, an email address and a telephone number, together with what you bought and what you paid.

Your card details

We never see your card number. Card payments are handled by Helcim, our payment processor. Card details are entered directly into a secure window served by Helcim and are never transmitted to, stored on or processed by this website. What comes back to us is confirmation that a payment succeeded and the information needed to identify the transaction.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server information when a page is requested — the IP address making the request, the page asked for, the time, and the browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary web-server logging and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

This site stores one thing in your own browser: if you add items to a cart, the product codes and quantities are kept in your browser's session storage so the cart survives moving between pages. It holds no personal information, it is never sent to us except when you ask for a price, and your browser discards it when you close the tab. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, social or session-recording services.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To take payment, fulfil your order and arrange delivery.
• To deal with questions, faults and returns afterwards.
• To keep the accounting and tax records a business is required to keep.
• To protect the website and our customers against fraud and abuse.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not profile you, and no decision affecting you is made about you by automated means.

Who else sees it

We share personal information only with the organisations that help us run the business, and only with what they need:

• Netlify — hosts this website and receives quote-form submissions on our behalf.
• Helcim — processes card payments. Helcim receives your card and billing details directly from you, not from us.
• Delivery carriers — receive the name, address and contact details needed to deliver your goods.
• Our accountant and professional advisers — where they need it to do their work for us.
• Law enforcement, regulators or a court — where we are legally required to provide it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and quote requests for only as long as they are useful — a request that went nowhere does not need keeping indefinitely.

Where your information is held

Feytom sells to customers in the United States and the services we use store information in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.

Keeping it safe

This site is served only over an encrypted connection. Card details are handled by Helcim and never reach our systems, which is the single most important thing we do to protect you. Access to quote requests and order records is limited to the people at Feytom who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you specific rights — including the right to know what is collected, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of its sale or of targeted advertising. Feytom does not sell personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any other right, contact us using the details above. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we do not hand your information to someone else.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the version and effective date shown at the top. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made quietly.
